Peachpit – Peachpit 2006

This is the first cover I created for Peachpit Press in the Apple Pro Training Series.

The dynamic of the background form and shape suggests the flow and fluidity of the edit and delivery process of Aperture’s workflow. On the left of the image, a grid of shapes hints at Apertures organizational interface for projects and images. The framing and croping of sections of the backgroud relates to how Aperture enables quick access to different versions of an original image. The color chips reflect how color adjustment can easily be replicated across multiple images.

Completed in January 2006.
